LEGAL AID CONTRACTS PROVOKE OUTRAGE...
According to News from the Law Society Gazette, 'the announcement that criminal defence firms that have secured new legal aid contracts will 'be invited' to help the Legal Aid Agency resist challenges from unsuccessful bidders has provoked outrage across the profession'.

A JOB IN THE LEGAL PROFESSION AS A CONVEYANCER...
With the property boom conveyancers are
in great demand.
Some of the duties of a conveyancer include, advising clients on the buying and selling process, researching the property being bought, conducting 'searches' through local authorities on any plans that may affect the property in the future, drafting contracts for the sale of the property, liaising with mortgage lenders, estate agents and solicitors, paying tax i.e. stamp duty, preparing leases and transfer of documents, keeping records of payments and checking all contracts are signed and exchanged at the right time.
It is an ideal job for someone who likes to work with people.
