INTERVIEW TECHNIQUES TO LEARN BEFORE THE INTERVIEW...

Always prepare, prepare, and prepare again before the interview. Research the company you are having an interview with. Find out as much as you can about them.

Dress to impress, think carefully about what you are going to wear well before the interview.

Have a practice run to where the interview is going to take place, to ensure you do not arrive late, if anything arrive early so you look keen.

Remember to take a copy of your CV with you and something to write on so you can make notes.

Arrive with some prepared questions to ask your possible future employer.

When you go into the interview room wait until you are offered a seat before you sit down and always shake hands with the interviewer while you are standing and not sitting.

Remember this is an interview so don't become to familiar with the interviewer and try to remember her/his surname otherwise say Mr, Mrs, Doctor....

Never make up an answer just be comfortable with what you know and don't know about the company.

Let them know what you can offer for the company rather than what the company can offer you.

Always follow up the interview within 24 hours.
